Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, seeks a Mobile MR Technologist to support imaging services across the Greater Charlotte region, including Gastonia and surrounding areas. You will travel with the mobile MRI truck, prepare patients, and operate MR equipment to acquire diagnostic scans.

This role offers 12- and 10-hour shifts, opportunities to work at multiple sites, and a competitive compensation package with weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in MR required.

• Travel with the mobile MRI truck and assist physicians in performing diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare patients and safely operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

This role will support mobile operations on the west side of Greater Charlotte (think Gastonia, Shelby, Lincolnton, etc.) and into Western North Carolina.

Responsibilities

The Mobile MR Technologist travels with the mobile MRI truck and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School or GED required
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required
• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in MR required

License/Certification

• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) required
• IV Credentialed required
• Applicable state license required
