Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Mobile MR Technologist to join our expanding team in Western North Carolina. You will travel with the mobile MRI truck, prepare patients, and safely operate the MR system to obtain diagnostic scans across Polk County and Asheville sites.

The role offers competitive compensation with weekend differentials, mileage reimbursement, sign-on bonus eligibility, and shifts of 12 or 10 hours. Hybrid/remote opportunities may exist based on the role.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• ARRT MR program completion is required.
• 1 year MR experience is required; 2-year degree preferred.

This role will support mobile operations in Western North Carolina, including in Polk County and at Novant Health Biltmore Avenue (formerly Open MRI & Imaging of Asheville).

Responsibilities

The Mobile MR Technologist travels with the mobile MRI truck and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School or GED required
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required
• 2 Year / Associate Degree preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of one year of experience in MR required

License/Certification:

• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) required
• IV Credentialed required
• Applicable state license required
