Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a Mobile Unit Driver/Receptionist to drive to sites, set up the mobile unit and perform patient registration and history completion, while guiding patients and ensuring smooth scheduling.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Commercial Driver's License, and the ability to work in a team, follow safety rules, and maintain confidentiality; it is a PRN on-site position with duties at the hospital.

Qualifications

• High School or GED plus 1–3 months related experience and/or training
• Commercial Driver's License required at hire
• Able to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Performs receptionist duties of patient registration and history completion, directs patients and assists with efficient schedule workflow.
• Operates vehicle safely, follows traffic laws and ensures the vehicle is locked after parking at end of shift.
• Reports maintenance needs and schedule activities for the Mobile Unit.
• Assists with loading/unloading supplies and setting up the Mobile Unit at site of operation.
• Performs daily shutdown activities as per duty list.
