Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors to support health readiness services for military personnel. Weekends plus occasional weekdays, with travel to various locations including remote military installations, are required.

You will assist health assessments, review medical histories, interview service members, and document results in a proprietary system. Background checks and drug screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the relevant state.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willing to work weekends and travel to various locations including remote military installations.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history and service member medical records.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Document interview results in medical records using a proprietary system.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
