Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Physician Assistants to partner as independent contractors providing health readiness services to military members. The role focuses on weekend work with some weekday needs, across state installations and remote sites.

Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing medical histories, interviewing service members, and documenting results in a proprietary system to support deployment readiness. Travel and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willing to travel and weekends available.
• Adaptable to work in multiple locations including remote installations.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results in the readiness medical record using a proprietary system.
