Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas seeks a skilled Mobile Medical Unit Driver to transport and support on-site clinic teams. You will perform daily pre-trip inspections, maintain the vehicle, and assist clinical staff during patient visits, with a 10-hour, four-day rotating schedule.

You must hold a Texas Commercial Driver License (Class A or B), be CPR certified, and have at least three years of driving or related customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must have three years of related driving or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Texas Commercial Driver License (Class A or B) required.
• CPR certification required or must pass within 3 months.
• Course work toward medical terminology or medical assistant certification preferred.
• Medical Office Assistant experience or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and secure.
• Drive the Mobile Medical Unit to assigned clinic sites and maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Assist medical staff with laboratory equipment and ensure safety of patients and staff.
• Maintain assigned reports and ensure proper use of supplies and equipment.
• Greet patients, manage inquiries, and coordinate registration and appointments.
• Support on-call duties and adapt to population-specific care needs.
