Job summary

Your Health Organization seeks a Delivery Medical Associate to transport and install durable medical equipment for patients and facilities in the [LOCATION] area. You will drive, load/unload, document deliveries, and provide basic setup guidance in homes and clinics.

The role requires a valid license, ability to lift heavy equipment, and strong customer service skills. A full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, with travel to multiple sites, is offered with compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience delivering medical equipment is a plus.
• Able to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Willingness to travel between offices and facilities.
• Team player with sound judgment.
• Flexibility to work hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery and return.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
• Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
