Zusammenfassung

Healthcare in Action in Los Angeles is seeking a Clinical Support Partner (MA/EMT) to assist clinicians in monitoring patients experiencing homelessness. You will obtain vitals, draw blood, provide basic wound care, and help coordinate care, including arranging rides, picking up prescriptions, and scheduling appointments.

You will work in the North Los Angeles area, support care plans with a collaborative team, educate patients, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience as Medical Assistant or EMT in medical settings.
• Ability to perform blood draws and basic wound care.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Aufgaben

• Conduct physical exams and assessments; obtain vitals and draw blood as needed.
• Assist in wound care, vaccinations, and basic clinical tasks.
• Develop and monitor individualized Care Plans with clinicians and patients.
• Coordinate care: arrange rides, pick up prescriptions, schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in care team with physicians and nurses.
• Support ongoing education and health promotion for patients.
