Job summary

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist for per diem, travel-based work delivering in-home diagnostic services across designated geographies. You will perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and macular edema screenings, traveling to patient residences with flexible hours and no minimum monthly visits.

The role requires phlebotomy and preferably EKG experience, with CMA/CPT certification preferred and licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience in clinical or field settings.
• At least 1 year of EKG experience preferred.
• CMA or CPT certification preferred.
• If located in WA or LA, state CMA or CPT license required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for visits.
• Proficiency with medical equipment and proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transport per policies and standards.
• Comply with lab safety and handling procedures; deliver samples to labs.
• Conduct trained screenings including EKGs and macular edema exams.
• Maintain a clean, organized mobile work environment and manage supplies.
• Monitor clinical supply inventory.
• Coordinate with IQVIA team to submit visit-related paperwork promptly.
• Identify/report adverse events or inquiries per guidance.
• Log mileage and time for reimbursement and compliance.
