Job summary

Mobility Works is seeking a skilled installer to perform mobile installation of light duty, commercial truck and van equipment. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and precise assembly from work orders to ensure top quality installations.

You will test drive vehicles, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic systems, and maintain safety standards while building expertise for apprenticeships and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school a plus.
• Must perform install-related physical activities; frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Solid electrical/automotive wiring experience.
• Welding and custom fabrication experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must pass criminal and motor vehicle background check.

• Previous mechanical work experience using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools


• Experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems


• Solid electrical and/or automotive wiring experience


• Welding experience and custom fabrication experience


• Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


• Candidates must successfully complete criminal and submit to a motor vehicle background check

Skills:

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Able to function capably in a production environment; working around moving vehicles, assembly and installation bays


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Must be able to work outside on occasion


• Ability to work in a loud environment


• Participate and comply in required company safety programs, trainings and PPE guidelines.
