Job summary

ABM is seeking an on-site HVAC/mechanical/electrical engineer to repair plumbing fixtures and service HVAC equipment across our contract sites. You will manage workloads, prepare quotations over £500, and ensure work is delivered to contract terms with strong safety practices.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, L8 qualification, and preferred IPAF/PASMA credentials. You’ll work with the contracts team and submit documentation promptly to enable invoicing.

Qualifications

• Plumbing Level 2/3 NVQ and L8 qualification are required.
• NVQ in Mechanical and/or Electrical to back gas qualifications.
• IPAF and PASMA certificates are preferred.
• Strong time management and workload coordination are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and reactive repair of plumbing accessories to current regs.
• Mechanical and electrical general competence demonstrated on site.
• Quoted work repairs and light gas installation across network sites.
• Submit weekly timesheet and expenses with receipts.
• Complete paperwork and obtain customer signatures for invoicing.
• Prepare engineer worksheets with plant details for extra work.
• Identify lifecycle replacement needs and deliver works on schedule.
• Follow SFG20 standards and site safety requirements.
