Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer I to maintain and repair building systems across multiple facilities. You will travel between properties, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include HVAC servicing, electrical/plumbing work, and building automation systems. You’ll document work orders, support vendor coordination, and participate in on-call rotations, with a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Experience across multiple sites or mobile engineering roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel between properties to perform inspections and maintenance.
• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and BAS.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Respond to service requests and after-hours emergencies when required.
• Maintain records, logs, and work orders; assist vendor coordination.
• Support energy management and operational efficiency initiatives.
