Job summary

Penn Line Tree Service, Inc. operates as a mobile maintenance and repair support contractor, traveling to field locations to service light-to-medium duty trucks, heavy equipment and boom trucks. A valid CDL is required, with candidates traveling between job sites and sometimes to the corporate office.

Tools must be provided by the candidate. The role supports multiple states (PA, MD, OH, VA, WV) and entails a 4-10 hour day schedule with frequent overtime and emergency storm duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License required.
• Two to four years of mechanic experience or certification in automotive and diesel truck repair from an accredited trade school preferred.
• Hydraulics experience is a plus.

• Provide routine maintenance for specialized equipment and boom trucks.

Job description

Nature of work involves providing mobile maintenance and repair support to a utility line tree clearance contractor. Technician duties may include servicing light to medium duty trucks, heavy equipment, and performing routine maintenance on other forms of specialized equipment such as various types of boom trucks, diesel trucks, Tractors, excavators, dozers, trucks, trailers, bunchers, forewarders, skidders, and chippers. Hydraulics experience is a plus. A valid Commercial Driver's License is required. Candidates may be asked to haul equipment and materials between multiple job sites and corporate office location. Candidate will be working out of a mobile service unit traveling to various field locations to provide repairs on site. Candidate must be able to provide own tools. Two to four years mechanic experience or certification in automotive and diesel truck repair from an accredited trade school is preferred.

Work Schedule: 4 -10 HR days, either; Monday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Friday with periods of mandatory overtime. Employees are also required to work emergency storm duty as need arises.

Rate of Pay: Varies depending upon Skills and Experience.

Work Area: Travel required throughout various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, & WV Candidates must be flexible to travel when called upon since work locations are subject to change upon short notice based on contract demands.
