A leading vehicle maintenance company is looking for a Mobile Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. This role requires a valid CDL license and experience in inspections or certifications in Heavy Duty Maintenance. You will travel to various sites and must be dedicated to safety, accuracy, and attention to detail. As a Diesel Truck/Trailer Mobile Maintenance Mechanic at CARDS RECYCLING, you will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. Your responsibilities will include completing work orders with proper coding such as reason for repair, detailed description of condition, cause, and correction, as well as properly completing the warranty process. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical in these roles. Traveling is a must as you will be sent to various sites to support with maintenance related duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
• Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuild fleet equipment components correctly.
• Informs management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions and unsafe work practices, and suggests corrective actions.
• Identifies and informs management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment and takes steps to solve issue if possible.
• Correctly completes complex work orders with proper description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state issued CDL driver's license.
• Experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance with specialty in Diesel.
• Experience in advanced diagnostics.
