Job summary

Quality Talent Group is assisting with recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic role in the United States. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment, diagnose complex mechanical issues, and respond quickly to field breakdowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction, mining, quarry, or aggregate equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, powertrain components, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and hydraulic or electrical diagrams.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy mobile equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns in the field.
• Repair or replace components such as engines and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
