Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC in New York is seeking an experienced equipment mechanic to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy mobile equipment to maximize uptime. You will perform preventive maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment, inspect for issues, keep precise service records, and contribute to safe, reliable plant operations through teamwork.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment to maximize operational uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs effectively.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
