Job summary

Turner Mining Group in Geneva, NY is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment to maximize uptime. You will perform preventive maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, and excavators while inspecting for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety concerns.

Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs effectively to support safe, reliable plant operations through quality workmanship and teamwork.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
