Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, unrestricted APRN license with NP designation in Nebraska.
• Current national Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Prescriptive authority to prescribe in Nebraska and federal requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services via the Maternal & Family Health Mobile Unit, focusing on maternal, infant, child, and family health.
• Plan, develop, and refine mobile unit services, workflows, and protocols.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
• Provide preventive care, health education, screenings, and early intervention.
• Coordinate referrals to health systems and community-based services.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with staff, partners, and host sites to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
• Support quality improvement, performance management, and emergency response activities.
