Venterra Realty in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations and lead the team as needed. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, ensuring move-in readiness and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires HVAC certification and strong leadership and communication abilities, with flexibility for on-call duties and a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• HVAC certification required; CPO certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Able to work flexible schedules including on-call rotation.
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs (occasional) and up to 75 lbs (rare).

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders promptly with quality service.
• Perform maintenance and repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structures).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and common areas.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare vacant apartments per the Total Quality Make Ready program.
• Work independently while maintaining safety and resident satisfaction.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain standards.
