Rent Prosper in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Maintenance & HVAC Technician to manage maintenance across our portfolio of single family rental homes. You'll drive a company vehicle to properties, diagnose issues, repair and install HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and more.

7+ years of hands-on experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license are required. This field-based role offers competitive pay, a Monday–Friday schedule, on-call emergencies only, and

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in apartments or rental properties.
7+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and full system installations.
Experience with older properties (1980s–2000s), fixtures, and appliances.
EPA Certification required.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot HVAC across various brands and models and perform repairs and full system installations.
Repair, remove, and replace components such as coils, Freon, compressors, fans, capacitors, drainage lines.
Perform appliance repairs and replacements (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, microwaves).
Repair plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and supply lines.
Handle electrical tasks like lighting, switches, and appliances connections.
Carry out general carpentry, drywall, texture, touch-up painting, and minor cabinet repairs.
