Mobile Maintenance Technician
Job Description Summary
Responsible for assisting with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including packaging and handling machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC.
- Clean, lubricate, and service a variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and perform painting on walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations or implement savings opportunities.
- Possess competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer service requests.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
- Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and fire pumps.
- Perform carpentry and snow removal as needed.
- Comply with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and building automation systems.
- Complete required safety training annually.
- Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to uniform dress code.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting
- Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related fields
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Work Environment
Professional office environment with routine use of standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
Regular communication, operation of office machinery, movement within the workplace, and physical activities as described.
