Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective work on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at our Waterbury-area facilities. You will assist senior mechanics and independently complete defined tasks, inspecting interior and exterior areas, and maintaining building spaces.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year related experience with carpentry/electrical/plumbing, tool proficiency, and CMMS (Maximo) competence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Experience with hand and power tools; CMMS (Maximo) familiarity.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Outlook; able to use basic computer software.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, work in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean HVAC coils, replace filters and belts, service plumbing components.
• Maintain and repair locks, doors and furniture across facilities.
• Document fire extinguishers and building systems for compliance.
• Prepare, prime and paint interior/exterior surfaces; perform handyman tasks.
• Handle special tasks: painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests.
• Prioritize preventive, corrective and emergent work orders; update CMMS.
