Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to provide on-site maintenance across client facilities in the Chicopee, MA area. The role involves inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on building systems, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

This full-time position requires 3–5 years of facility maintenance experience, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to high workmanship standards. Union shop with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years' experience in commercial/retail facility maintenance.
• Experience performing handyman tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, minor repairs).
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Must hold a current state issued driver's license and be in good standing.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Trade certifications or specialized maintenance training are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair/replace defective components.
• Respond to emergency requests as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and document work.
• Assist other tradesmen and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain a professional, safe and clean work environment.
• Comply with C&W Services and OSHA safety policies and regulations.
• Track and reconcile all work orders and parts via PDA system.
• Maintain company van, parts and tool inventory.
