Job summary

The Hillman Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a Mobile Locksmith Technician focused on delivering automotive locksmith solutions from a fully equipped service van. You will collaborate with an Automotive Mobile Sales Representative to provide key cutting, fob programming, and related services on the go.

Compensation includes $25 per hour plus 5% commission on sales, plus a company van and fuel card for business use.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).
• Experience with automotive locksmithing to include cutting, programming, and cloning keys is required.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Locksmith License, which may require passing an FBI background check.
• Experience with a variety of aftermarket key programmers.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Automotive Mobile Sales Representative to deliver mobile locksmith solutions using a company‑provided service van.
• Assist customers with automotive locksmith needs, including but not limited to key cutting and key fob programming or cloning.
• Operate and maintain your mobile “store,” setting the standard for future mobile locksmith operations.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate customer meetings, and keep the mobile van clean and in showroom condition.
• Collaborate with leadership to share ideas, improve processes, and support mobile program excellence.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism and care.
