Job summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units at customer sites. You must have prior hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work is performed as a 1099/per-call position with pay based on the number of calls completed. Expect 2–5 calls per day, with parts pickups and job routing handled through the online portal.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable with daily local travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops at customer sites.
• Log calls and map routes in the tech portal by 9 am daily.
• Coordinate parts pickup from FedEx/UPS and return replaced parts.
• Work on 2–5 calls per day across multiple sites Monday–Friday.
