Job summary

Bctechpro is seeking a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops. The role is 1099/per-call, with pay starting at $35 per call and increasing with travel distance.

Responsibilities include logging tickets, scheduling with the customer portal by 9 am, picking up parts, and visiting multiple sites daily. You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, access to a computer and Internet, and be available for 3 weekdays.

Qualifications

• Experience replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Available to log in to the portal by 9 am and plan daily routes.
• Willingness to travel locally every day.
• Access to a computer and Internet to log tickets and updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units.
• Visit multiple customer sites (residential and commercial) for service calls.
• Log tickets, confirm service times in the portal, and map daily routes.
• Pickup parts daily from designated FedEx/UPS locations; dispose of old parts with prepaid labels.
• Complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo during onboarding.
