Job summary

Bctechpro is seeking a Computer Field Technician to perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. Candidates must have prior hands-on experience with replacing components.

This is a 1099 per-call position with pay starting at $35 per call. You will travel locally, visiting multiple sites daily, and log into the portal each morning by 9 am to map routes and schedule calls. Certifications from Dell and Lenovo are provided online during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available to log into the tech portal by 9 am to map routes and log calls.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptops and desktops at customer sites.
• Travel locally to multiple sites daily.
• Log calls and route plans in the portal each morning.
• Coordinate parts pickup from the assigned store before onsite visits.
• Complete services at customer locations (residential and commercial).
• Maintain confidentiality per EEO guidelines.
