Job summary

BC Tech Pro is seeking a Computer Field Technician to perform on-site hardware repairs and installations for laptops and desktops. You will work in residential and commercial sites across the territory, with emphasis on prior hardware experience.

The position is 1099/per call, with pay starting at $35 per call and increasing based on distance traveled. You will be visiting multiple work sites daily and logging your route and calls in the provided portal.

Qualifications

• Must have prior hands on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be comfortable with daily local travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site hardware repairs and installations for laptop and desktop units.
• Complete onboarding certifications for Dell and Lenovo as required.
• Log calls and map routes in the portal each day and coordinate with customers.
