Eastern Carolina Vocational Center Inc. seeks a Part-Time Working Mobile Unit Supervisor/Floater to manage the day-to-day operations of the ECVC mobile janitorial unit.

This role supervises and performs work details while on the mobile unit and may float to other day or night locations as needed. The position requires strong leadership, scheduling, and customer-relations skills, with driving credentials to operate a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driving credentials to operate a personal vehicle.
• Strong supervisory and team-management abilities.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and direct work activities effectively.
• Experience in quality control inspections and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to build customer relations and promote services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of janitorial operations at sites allocated, using effective team management, cost control, and standard settings.
• Directs, coordinates, and monitors activities of workers engaged in processing services.
• Plans schedules, sequences, and assignments based on priorities, contracts, and goals.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and develops staff; evaluates performance and addresses issues.
• Requisitions materials and supplies; ensures compliance with policies and external certifications.
• Inspects and tests completed work to verify conformance to standards.
