Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company seeks a skilled Industrial Plant Field Service Mechanic to support high-volume Ready-Mix operations. You will be the mechanical backbone across multiple facilities, performing PMs, complex repairs, and welds in a mobile field role with significant autonomy.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, welding/fabrication expertise, and the ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in ready-mix/aggregate operations.
• Proven welding/fabrication and heavy mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to read hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs on rotating equipment and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot batching systems, gates, actuators, air compressors, and feeders.
• Rebuild major processing equipment and perform field welding on structural components.
• Diagnose control systems using hydraulic/pneumatic schematics and LO TO procedures.
