Job summary

Carolina Industrial Products is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our service team in the Charlotte area. This mobile, customer-facing role services industrial battery systems and related warehouse equipment at client sites throughout the region.

Training is available for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a great attitude. We offer a company vehicle, paid training, and a stable Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for advancement, health benefits, and paid

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
Ability to work independently in the field.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work.
Experience in industrial maintenance, forklift repair, automotive or diesel mechanics, HVAC service, field service technician work, or electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on industrial battery systems and charging equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Install and replace industrial batteries and related components.
Conduct battery watering, cleaning, and inspections.
Respond to customer service calls in a professional and timely manner.
Complete service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
