Carolina Industrial Products is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to join our service team. This mobile, customer-facing role services industrial battery systems and related warehouse equipment at customer locations across the region.

We offer paid training, a company service vehicle, and a stable Monday-Friday schedule. The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently in the field, and a valid driver's license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial battery systems and charging equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Install and replace industrial batteries and related components.
• Conduct battery watering, cleaning, and inspections.
• Respond to customer service calls in a professional manner.
• Complete service documentation and communicate with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
