Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Hydroblaster/Field Technician to lead and execute industrial cleaning operations at customer sites. This role emphasizes safety, on-site coordination, and hands-on operation of hydro-blasting and related equipment across multiple crews.

The position requires physical endurance, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to manage equipment and documentation efficiently. Opportunities exist for growth within a safety-conscious company.

Qualifications

• Safety training and on-the-job training completed.
• English language comprehension for safety instructions.
• Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle use.
• TWIC credential required.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for company and customer safety policies.
• Operate hydro-blasting equipment as needed.
• Operate specialized equipment such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Drive and set up pumping and cleaning equipment on site.
• Inspect surfaces for conformance to specs.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• supervise on-site execution and ensure customer requirements are met.
