Job summary

Thompson Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks Hydroblaster/Field Technicians to safely execute field jobs at customer locations. You will lead crews, drive daily operations, maintain equipment, and ensure documentation is completed on time while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include operating hydro-blasting equipment, managing job setup with customers, and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Safety training and on-the-job training provided
• English language proficiency required to comprehend safety instructions
• Valid driver's license required when driving company vehicle
• Provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies & procedures of both the company & the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response & administrative functions.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operation of special equipment, such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping and hydro-blasting/chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks & cutting equipment at the job site.
• Examine surface cleaning to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• If supervising: interface with customer representatives regarding job setup, ensure performance & customer requirements are met, and implement company procedures at the job site.
