Position Overview

As a PIRTEK Mobile Service & Sales Technician, you’ll be the face of our business. You’ll operate a fully equipped mobile workshop, troubleshoot hydraulic and industrial hoses, address fluid transfer issues on‑site, and perform fast, reliable repairs that keep our customers up and running. This role blends hands‑on technical work with professional customer interaction. You must be comfortable using tools, confidently communicate with business owners, managers, and mechanics, build trust, explain repairs, and identify additional service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site hydraulic hose replacement and repairs at customer locations
• Operate and maintain a PIRTEK Mobile Service Vehicle as a rolling workshop
• Diagnose issues, fabricate hoses, and complete repairs with accuracy and safety
• Deliver exceptional customer service—explain work, answer questions, and build rapport
• Identify opportunities for additional products/services and help customers prevent future breakdowns
• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and vehicle inventory

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfortable with tools for hands‑on repairs
• Confident communicator—speaks professionally with customers and earns their trust
• Sales‑minded with the ability to spot opportunities and make helpful recommendations
• Problem‑solver who stays calm and efficient in fast‑paced environments
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience in hydraulic, mechanical, automotive, industrial, or construction fields is a plus
• No hydraulic experience? No problem—comprehensive training is provided

Hours & Compensation

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on‑call availability for emergency service.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour.
