Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to perform mobile maintenance and repair across a portfolio of facilities for a major telecom client. You’ll focus on RTUs and related systems, travel between sites in a company vehicle, and solve mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.

This role emphasizes autonomy, strong customer service, and proactive communication with clients and management, with opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company service vehicle.
• Experience servicing commercial HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repairing RTUs.
• Reading and interpreting work orders, equipment manuals, and technical information.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-focused approach.
• Basic MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems with a focus on RTUs.
• Travel between sites using a company-provided service vehicle to support telecom facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and building system issues to maximize reliability.
• Complete light plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance as needed.
• Review work orders, estimate materials and repair times, document work performed.
• Inspect equipment for safety and code compliance; support energy efficiency initiatives.
• Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of building equipment.
• Communicate status and concerns with clients, team, and management.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure safe, on-schedule completion.
