Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on rooftop units (RTUs) and related building systems across a telecom client portfolio. The role is highly independent and offers autonomy across multiple facilities.

Travel in a company vehicle to sites, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, document work, and support energy efficiency initiatives. No mandatory overtime and a take-home service van are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and equipment documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems with focus on RTUs.
• Travel between sites using a company vehicle to support telecom facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and building system issues; maximize reliability.
• Complete light plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Review work orders, estimate materials, and document work performed.
