Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to join our North America team, supporting fast-growing commercial HVACR service and maintenance programs. You will work on light to heavy commercial systems with our field teams, performing preventive maintenance, repair, and commissioning tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting in HVAC.
• Experience with rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, compressors, and plumbing.
• Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators.
• Ability to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot driveline issues.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to support branch customers.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial HVACR systems.
• Provide quotes and upsell opportunities to customers and contribute to service improvements.
• Work with local market mechanics, Servicemen and apprentices to deliver service.
• Adhere to safety and company standards; complete knowledge examinations as required.
