Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join the Building Engineering team supporting facility operations across assigned locations, including Indianapolis, IN. You will operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC/R systems and manage preventive maintenance to ensure uptime.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, a Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Universal CFC recovery certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 4+ years of building engineering experience with HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair.
• Experience with commercial/refrigeration systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness for call-in work.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems to support facility performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment across sites.
• Conduct facility inspections and document conditions affecting operations.
• Use CMMS to update work order status and manage receipts.

Our client, Facilities and Maintenance Operations is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Building Engineering team supporting facility operations across assigned locations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to manage preventive maintenance and repair work orders with accuracy—which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician

Location: Indianapolis , IN

Pay Range: $ 36-$40/hr dependent on experience

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment to support efficient, safe facility performance.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and installed systems and components.

• Strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC/R systems.

• Conduct facility inspections and document as-found conditions that impact client occupancy and day-to-day operations.

• Use CMMS systems (such as Corrigo) to update work order status in real time and submit P-card receipts daily.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.

• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.

• Must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license and be available for call-in work as required.
