Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to support a telecommunications retail portfolio.

You will manage building systems at multiple storefronts, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues, and coordinate with site managers to ensure safe, reliable operations. Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems in retail, commercial, industrial, or facilities environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Ability to travel daily between client sites and respond to after-hours needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilities technician for multiple telecommunications retail locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
• Perform basic to intermediate repairs on electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building systems.
• Respond to service requests and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimize disruptions.
• Complete HVAC system installations, upgrades, replacements, and retrofits as required.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain service records and maintenance documentation using CMMS.
• Coordinate with vendors and facility managers to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Ensure compliance with CBRE, client, OSHA, and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary facilities technician for multiple telecommunications retail locations, taking ownership of building operations and overall site performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
• Perform basic to intermediate repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building systems.
• Respond to service requests and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimize operational disruptions.
• Complete HVAC system installations, upgrades, replacements, and equipment retrofits as required.
• Monitor building equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and asset longevity.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, equipment readings, and maintenance documentation using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and facility managers to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all CBRE, client, OSHA, and industry safety standards.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building strong relationships with site leadership and stakeholders.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems in retail, commercial, industrial, or facilities environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Experience working independently in a mobile service environment.
• Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and controls is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel daily between assigned client sites.
• Flexibility to respond to after-hours service needs when required.

Required Certifications

• EPA Universal Certification strongly preferred
• Candidates with EPA Type I and Type II Certifications will also be considered.
• Additional HVAC certifications and trade licenses are a plus.
