Job summary

CBRE is seeking a HVAC - Hybrid Mobile Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems and provide general building maintenance at multiple locations. The role includes light carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks, with a company van, gas card, tablet, phone, uniforms, boot allowance, and all tools provided.

The schedule is approximately 7–3:30 or 8–4:30, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or trade school certification with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Universal EPA or CFC Certification.
• Basic knowledge of light carpentry, electrical and plumbing for a hybrid role.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs+ and moving around multiple sites.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to perform calculations (percentages, fractions, etc.).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance on building HVAC/R equipment in compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best actions to modify, repair, or maintain HVAC systems and basic building systems.
• Complete maintenance and repair records.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
• Share expertise on HVAC/Refrigeration systems and facilities maintenance with team.
• Lead by example and model CBRE's culture.
• Explain technical information clearly to team members and clients.

About The Role

As a CBRE HVAC - Hybrid Mobile Technician, you will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems as well as general building maintenance to include light electrical, plumbing and basic carpentry at multiple locations and various types of buildings.

CBRE does provide the following for this role; Company van, gas card, tablet, phone, uniforms, boot allowance and all tools needed to do the job. This specific role will be providing service to one of our Premier Telecommunications providers and the schedule would be approximately (7- 3:30/ 8 – 4:30 M-F) with a 30 min lunch. No On-call or Weekends required

This job is related to the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on buildings, equipment and systems to include HVAC, and general building maintenance i.e. Light plumbing, carpentry and electrical.

• Impact a range of customer, operation, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies to conduct inspections and ongoing maintenance on building HVAC/R equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Solve equipment failures, determine the best course of action for equipment modifications, and apply your expertise to maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and basic general building maintenance - Including electrical, plumbing, and light carpentry
• Completing maintenance and repair records.
• Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
• Share your in-depth knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration systems and broad knowledge facilities maintenance.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE 's Culture.
• Explain technical information to others in a straightforward, professional manner, ensuring that team members and clients understand technical details and solutions.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma - GED, or trade school certification with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Universal EPA or CFC Certification
• Basic knowledge and skills with light carpentry, electrical and plumbing as this is a Hybrid role.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills, advanced-inquisitive mentality, capable of analyzing and solving complex problems. Desire to take a new approach to existing solutions and apply innovative thinking to your work.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. To include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other similar calculations.
