Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R background.
  • Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • Valid state driver's license.

What this job involves: This position focuses on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment with an emphasis on HVAC/R systems. You'll be responsible for inspecting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. The role requires technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration, along with versatile skills in electrical systems, plumbing, and material handling equipment to successfully manage daily maintenance tasks. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
  • Operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, and plumbing systems
  • Conducting facility inspections and reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations
  • Completing hazard assessments and maintaining compliance with safety procedures and local regulations
  • Updating work orders in real-time using CMMS systems like Corrigo
  • Communicating and escalating issues to customers and management promptly
  • Performing building interior/exterior repairs and maintaining related grounds and production equipment
Desired experience and technical skills: Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years technical experience in building engineering with a strong HVAC/R background
  • Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Capacity to work at heights, climb ladders (up to 30 feet), and perform in adverse weather conditions
  • Availability for on-call work as needed
Preferred:
  • 3rd Party Certification
  • Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC
  • Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel

Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.
