Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Mobile Building Engineer to support multiple facilities in the Fort Lauderdale area. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and related systems while traveling to sites in Port Saint Lucie, FL.

This role requires maintaining safety, regulatory compliance, and documentation of activities. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, EPA certification, and 4+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Engineering experience focused on HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing.
• Experience with energy management and building systems preferred.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Inspect building systems (HVAC/R, plumbing, fire alarms) for proper operation.
• Oversee and inspect work by outside contractors.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance and repair records.
• Review and estimate time/materials for repairs.
