What this job involves:

This role focuses on providing comprehensive building maintenance support, including lighting systems, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment repairs. The position requires versatility in handling various maintenance tasks while supporting the operations team and responding to tenant requests, including after-hours emergency support.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Maintaining lighting systems by replacing bulbs and ballasts as needed
• Assisting the operations team with building equipment maintenance and repairs
• Performing interior HVAC/R maintenance including coil cleaning and evaporator servicing
• Maintaining kitchen equipment such as meat grinders, cubers, meat saws, and slicers
• Completing minor plumbing repairs throughout the facility
• Handling special tasks including painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests
• Complying with proper protocols for hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal

Desired experience and technical skills

Requirements:

• Experience with general building maintenance and repairs
• Knowledge of lighting system components and replacement procedures
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls
• Understanding of hazardous materials handling protocols
• Basic plumbing repair experience

Preferred:

• HVAC/R maintenance experience
• Commercial kitchen equipment maintenance background
• Locksmith skills
• Painting experience
• Previous building or facilities maintenance role
