Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our Western Wisconsin team, serving light and/or commercial HVACR systems. The role involves maintenance, repair, and service on commercial equipment, with opportunities for advancement through our STA certification and incentive programs.

Candidates should be within about an hour of Tomah, WI, and be prepared for 10–20% travel. You will work alongside Servicemen and apprentices, prioritizing safety and customer communication while

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years Commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting in HVAC
• Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators for pumps, fans, compressors
• Able to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot drivelines
• Travel 10%–20% to support branch activities
• Must pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies
• Opportunity to enroll in training programs to gain HVAC knowledge and sales quoting
• Work with local market mechanics, servicemen and apprentices
• Prioritize safety in all forms and communicate findings clearly to customers

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems
• Provide quotes and recommendations to customers to ensure efficient operation
• Support branch customers with troubleshooting, installation and aftermarket service
• Collaborate with Servicemen and apprentices to deliver high-quality service
• Write clear, concise explanations of problems, causes, and corrective actions
