Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex control systems and provide high levels of customer satisfaction through on-site support.

You will mentor technicians, complete project documentation, and coordinate with customers to propose improvements and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Two years of HVAC commercial controls troubleshooting experience.
• Vocational school or associate degree in a technical field.
• Ability to install and service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex building control systems and assist with commissioning.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Mentor technicians and provide on-site training to customers and staff.
• Communicate with customers, document service activities, and ensure satisfaction.
• Support sales with technical recommendations and quotes.
