Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking veterinarians to provide compassionate, in-home veterinary care across Chicago metro areas, including Glenview. You’ll practice independently on the road with strong support, mentorship, and a schedule built around your life.

Choose between 5-day full-time with $135,000 base salary plus quarterly bonuses or 4-day full-time starting at $110,000, with prorated compensation for 2-3 day self-managed schedules. No non-compete.

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent is required.
• Strong compassionate care and communication with clients.
• Ability to meet physical demands (lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, 90 lbs with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate veterinary care in clients' homes.
• Practice medicine with autonomy while receiving mentorship and support.
• Offer end-of-life care including in-home euthanasia with dignity and compassion.
