Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking a Compassionate Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care across Chicago, Des Plaines, Oaklawn, Glenview and surrounding areas. You’ll practice medicine on the road with independence, while receiving mentorship and team support from day one.

The role offers flexible scheduling options (2–5 days per week) and remote/mobile practice with no non-compete, along with a generous compensation package and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to work in-home hospice and end-of-life care settings.

Responsibilities

• Practice independently on the road, providing in-home hospice care.
• Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and guidance to families.
• Collaborate with a supportive team while maintaining autonomy.
