Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a Compassionate Veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across West Chicago, Dekalb, Aurora, Hoffman, and surrounding areas. You will practice medicine on the road with a schedule built around your life, enjoying mentorship and support from a dedicated team.

The role offers 5-Day Full-Time ($135,000 base) or 4-Day Full-Time ($110,000 base) with quarterly bonus opportunities, plus self-managed scheduling for 2- or 3-Day and part-time

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification and background check will be completed before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes.
• Practice medicine independently while traveling to multiple locations.
• Receive onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.
