Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia across Chicago, Des Plaines, Oaklawn, Glenview and surrounding areas. You’ll work on the road with supportive mentorship, practicing medicine that matters without clinic pace.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Weekends on your terms; flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in pets' homes.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
• Maintain and manage a self-paced schedule with 2–5 days per week options.
• Deliver end-of-life care with dignity and clear communication to families.
